Mehboob Hamza

Mehboob attended the Dublin Institute of Technology and was awarded a degree in B.Sc Management by the University of Dublin, Trinity College, Ireland. Post his graduation, he worked as an Analyst in the City of London and Wall Street, NY.

With the help of his brother Mustansir, Mehboob established Seven Seas Computers in March 1983. With the advent of personal computers in the UAE, Mehboob recognised that a significant market was emerging and Seven Seas Computers became a pioneer in supplying Information Technology products and services within the region.

Mehboob's global experience in business has proved vital in monitoring and supervising Seven Seas's historic growth and development. Since its establishment, Seven Seas has expanded with subsidiaries in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Mehboob's portfolio includes Strategy and People and this combination is effective in attracting talented individuals to aspire and achieve the challenges of a dynamic corporate strategy.

Mehboob believes "continuous learning is critical to the success of individuals and enhancement of corporate intellectual capital." The corporate library and the internal and external training and knowledge acquisition programs are initiated through his passion to embed it within the corporate culture.

Mustansir Hamza

Mustansir attended Trinity College in Dublin, where he graduated with a BA in Mathematics; a BAI in Engineering Science in 1982 as well as being conferred an MA in Mathematics in 1983.

In March 1983, with the help of his brother, Mustansir established Seven Seas Computers in Dubai. With the advent growth of Personal Computers in the UAE, a significant market was emerging at that time, which allowed Seven Seas Computers to become a pioneer in supplying Information Technology Products and Services within this region.

With an extensive range of educational studies from Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and the United States, Mustansir possesses a powerful portfolio of business and scientific knowledge to help establish influential links with the World's most prominent IT & Telecom Products and Solution Providers.

Mustansir works closely in overseeing the strategic planning, financial and administration functions for all the companies represented by Seven Seas, whilst adopting many philosophies such as Managing by Wandering Around. This allows Mustansir to monitor the autonomy of his employees by 'Empowering them with Knowledge', a philosophy which is transferred to the Client through the creation of innovative Information Technology Solutions. He hopes these philosophies will help to fulfil his dream for Seven Seas "to become the preferred IT Solutions Provider in the Middle and Far Eastern markets".
